Role Description The Warehouse Associate is a full-time, on-site role based at AMA Global Foods’ Surrey, BC warehouse. This role is responsible for receiving, unloading, and organizing incoming shipments; accurately picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch; and assisting with loading outgoing deliveries. Day-to-day tasks include operating warehouse equipment, maintaining clean and safe work areas, following inventory and quality control procedures, and ensuring products are handled and stored according to company standards.

Associate works closely with supervisors and team members to meet daily deadlines, support efficient warehouse operations, and uphold safety and food handling guidelines.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Shipping & Receiving, including verifying orders, checking documentation, and handling inventory movements.
- Candidates should possess skills in Packing and Unloading to safely handle products, assemble orders, and manage incoming freight.
- Candidates should possess skills in Forklift Operation and Pallet Jack use, with the ability to move pallets and materials efficiently and safely.
- Ability to lift and move boxes and materials as required, and to stand or walk for extended periods in a warehouse environment.
- Attention to detail, basic math and counting skills, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Strong commitment to safety, food handling standards, and teamwork; prior warehouse or logistics experience is an asset.
- Flexibility to work full time shifts, including occasional weekends or extended hours as business needs require.
