Job Summary

Responsibilities

- Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport materials safely within the warehouse.
- Perform order picking and fulfillment tasks accurately using warehouse management systems like AS400 or similar platforms.
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipments, preparing packages, and ensuring proper documentation.
- Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of goods while adhering to safety protocols.
- Support manufacturing or construction-related activities by managing materials and supplies efficiently.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and updates in the warehouse management system.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained,



report any mechanical issues promptly, and operate heavy machinery with mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting when necessary.

Skills

- Proven experience operating reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, or other heavy equipment in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes including order fulfillment, packing, load & unload procedures.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly and effectively.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems such as AS400 or equivalent software.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining productivity standards.
- Experience with shipping & receiving operations, including documentation accuracy.
- Construction or manufacturing experience is a plus for understanding complex logistics workflows.
