Metal Supermarkets GTA is looking for a Warehouse Associate for our Ottawa location. This is a full time job from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm with the added potential for overtime.

includes

Setting up and operating cutting machines (shear, saw, Ironworker)

Properly loading and unloading material from cutting beds, shelves and trucks with appropriate material handling equipment (may require lifting of up to 50 lbs.)

Preparing product for delivery or customer pickup, including checking and completing all necessary paperwork

Assist co-workers with various duties involving physical handling of product, materials and equipment as well as paperwork and customer service where needed

Job Requirements

Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills for a demanding and customer focused working environment

Comfortable working in a fast paced, small business environment A motivated team player





Ability to accurately read a measuring tape and understand inches and fractions

Previous factory/warehouse and forklift experience would be an asset

Compensation for this job includes the base salary plus inclusion in our profit sharing program, as well as our health and dental plan, after three months. All uniform items are provided including work boots and safety equipment.
