Warehouse & Customer Service Associate

PlumbPro Supplies Inc. is an independent plumbing and heating wholesaler looking for a motivated individual to join our team in a hands-on Warehouse & Inside Sales Associate role.

This position combines warehouse operations, inventory management, procurement, product knowledge, and customer service, with opportunities for advancement.

What You'll Do

- Receive customer orders by phone, email, and in person, and accurately enter them into our ERP system.
- Assist customers with product selection, availability, pricing, and order requirements.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- load trucks securely for deliveries.
- Receive, unload, inspect, and put away incoming inventory.
- Verify order accuracy and resolve discrepancies as required.
- Restock shelves and maintain a highly organized, clean, and safe warehouse.
- Operate forklift and safely handle, lift, and move heavy materials.
- Assist customers with loading materials, orders, and product selection.
- Perform regular cycle counts and help maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Use procurement and inventory software to monitor and replenish stock.
- Prepare and maintain purchase orders, including updating pricing and ensuring accuracy.
- Verify order accuracy and resolve discrepancies as required.
- Learn our plumbing, heating, PVF, pump, hydronic, and water treatment products.




- Support our sales and customer service teams.
- Develop the product and industry knowledge needed for future advancement.
- Assist customers via phone and in person, providing friendly, professional service with excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Engage with customers to identify their needs, promote products or services, and upsell when appropriate to maximize sales opportunities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace while adhering to company policies and safety standards
- Work collaboratively with the team to meet daily operational and customer-service goals.

What We're Looking For:
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education is an asset.
- Proficient computer skills required. Demonstrated data entry skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for engaging with customers effectively.
- Experience with Streamline ERP and Google Workspace is an asset.
- Valid Ontario Class G driver's licence and clean driver's abstract.
- Valid forklift certification.




- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Robust organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable, motivated, and willing to learn.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically capable of safely lifting, carrying, and moving heavy objects and materials throughout the workday.
- Plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, warehouse, purchasing, inventory, or customer-service experience is an asset.

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38.0 – 40.0 per week

Education:
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

- Plumbing: 1 year (preferred)
