Production Worker

Westpoint Naturals is looking for a self-motivated and energetic person, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to teamwork. This position is responsible for producing finished goods by running the auger and vibratory feeder, and hand packing bulk product.

This includes: unloading ingredients, maintaining an organized and optimized warehouse, packing ingredients to food safety and production SOP, checking product quality. Efficiently running the production equipment, managing changeovers and allergen-controls and executing a thorough sanitization after each production run.

Essential Duties:

- Follow all process and quality SOPs to ensure production is efficient and quality compliant
- Pack natural and organic food products following weight and size requirements and adhering to Company process and protocol
- Unloading product shipments, maintaining and organized and optimized warehouse
- Labelling products accurately (nutrition panels and retail labels)
- Assess quality of products and identify impurities to be sifted
- Measure and mix products for blends
- Pack bulk products into bulk bags (1-10kg)
- Sealing bags and boxes
- Unpack shipments and restock warehouse shelves




- Keep products and equipment tidy and organized
- Maintain written records on products packed
- Clean and sanitize packing equipment
- Assisting with warehouse cleanliness including sweeping, mopping and cleaning as required
- Able to lift 25-50lb packages
- Ability to stand for 8-10 hours/day and work in a high-paced, environment
- Able to work quickly and multitask
- Attention to detail and adherence to processes and procedures

Preferred Skills & Experience:

- Warehouse or food industry experience
- Experience with production equipment and allergen controls preferred
- Must speak, read and write English

Applicants must be willing to wear a hairnet and lab coat and adhere to strict personal hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards.
