Adamson Systems Engineering is growing, and we are looking for a skilled Welder to join our team in Port Perry, Ontario. As a leader in the design and manufacture of premium loudspeaker systems for live sound and installation markets, our products are trusted by professionals on stages, in venues, and in theatres in more than sixty countries.

In this role, you will prepare, weld, inspect, and maintain aluminum and steel components used in Adamson’s professional audio products. The ideal candidate is safety-minded, detail-oriented, and comfortable interpreting technical drawings while working with TIG and MIG welding processes in a production environment.

Adamson Systems Engineering is Canada’s most recognized exporter of loudspeaker technology for the pro-audio sector. Adamson loudspeakers are used on global tours and festivals and installed in prestigious venues around the world. Located in beautiful Port Perry, Ontario, Adamson is one of the area’s largest employers, with more than 100 highly skilled craftspeople working across design, development, and production.

Position Details: Full-time position based in Port Perry, Ontario. Compensation, schedule, and benefits will be discussed during the recruitment process.

Responsibilities

· Read and interpret blueprint drawings and technical specifications.

· Select, move, and organize materials for the work area,



manually or with overhead cranes as required.

· Lay out, prepare, and assemble aluminum and steel components for production.

· Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to weld components using TIG and MIG processes.

· Inspect completed work, identify defects, and maintain fixtures to support consistent quality.

· Follow all safe work procedures and maintain a clean, efficient workspace.

Skills & Experience

· Certified Journeyperson Welder or Registered Apprentice.

· Valid CWB, FCAW, or MCAW certification is considered an asset.

· Previous experience working in a structural steel or production welding environment.

· Demonstrated commitment to teamwork, safety, quality, and productivity.
