Join a dynamic team as the Environmental, Health & Safety Coordinator specializing in quarry and dock operations. Your role will focus on compliance, safety training, and fostering an effective EHS culture.

In this critical position, you will lead EHS initiatives, ensuring adherence to the Nova Scotia Occupational Health & Safety Act and environmental regulations. You will manage inspections, training programs, and sustainability efforts, all while collaborating with various departments to enhance safety practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor and implement EHS compliance measures
- Support incident investigation and corrective action processes
- Lead regular safety training sessions and toolbox talks
- Administer safety equipment procurement and budget tracking
- Manage site inspections and cooperate with safety committees

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree or relevant EHS experience
- Two years of EHS experience in manufacturing
- Strong familiarity with environmental legislation
- Excellent influencing and engagement skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours for support
