The RMOW is hiring an Equipment Operator III to join the Roads department and operate snow clearing machinery starting November 1, 2026. Key Responsibilities: • Safely operate and maintain snow clearing equipment • Carry out tasks for winter road maintenance projects • Provide protected transportation solutions for residents and visitors • Minimize risks during adverse weather conditions • Collaborate effectively with team and community members

Requirements: • Grade 12 education plus 2-4 years relevant experience • At least 1-3 years handling heavy machinery • Valid Class 5 BC driver’s license with air endorsement • Knowledge of local roadways and safe practices • Strong teamwork and communication skills
