As a Support Facilitator, you will provide support to our adult son, who has developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate is motivated, organized, and skilled in time management. In this role, you will help him continue building a meaningful life in Edmonton. Scheduling will be arranged between you and our son, with some evening and weekend hours required. The areas that currently require support and facilitation are as follows: • Communicate with current employer on a regular basis • Research and explore community opportunities related to personal interests • Encourage regular walks for physical exercise • Build on independent living skills This position is for up to 9 hours per week and requires some flexibility as you develop your schedule around current commitments from both parties. Qualifications As an ideal candidate you will possess:



• Commitment to the values of inclusion • Strong time management skills as you will be responsible for creating your own schedule and will be working with little to no supervision. Regular reports to the family are required. • Positive communication skills to advocate and communicate for our son when required You will require: • Current First Aid and CPR training • A vehicle, and valid driver’s license • Up to date Drivers Abstract with less than six (6) demerit points • Police Information Check including vulnerable sector check Previous experience and/or relevant education is an asset. Compensation: $20.00/hour with a start date on or before November 15, 2026. Job post will remain open until a successful candidate has been found.
