Overview
Castle Mountain Resort is seeking passionate cooks to join our vibrant culinary team this winter season. If you love crafting delicious dishes and adding your own creative flair, this is your chance to shine in a fast-paced, mountain-side kitchen. As a cook at Castle, you'll play a key role in guest satisfaction—where food quality and presentation are everything. You'll have the freedom to design daily specials and collaborate closely with our Executive Chef to showcase your skills. All this, while working in the stunning South Canadian Rockies!
What We Offer You
- $17/hr wage, depending on experience, plus tips.
- Full mountain season pass.

- Full time employment 40hr/week, overtime opportunities may exist during busy periods.
- This is a seasonal position starting late November to April, with the possibility of extension for the right candidate.

Responsibilities
- Comply with standards of service and assist in assuring the same for all kitchen associates.
- Assistance with managing the daily operations, including the maintaining and cleaning of the kitchen and equipment.
- Participating in food preparation, producing a consistent product and dishwashing as needed.
- Help control food waste.
- Ensure all food safe policies are followed.
- In conjunction with the Sous and Executive Chef, execute daily specials.
- Maintain a positive relationship with all front house associates.
Maintain all cooler logs to ensure all fridges are working within the parameters of health guidelines.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of cooking in a restaurant/pub kitchen.
- Entry level knife skills.
- Food safe certification is considered an asset.
- Post-secondary education or trade certificates considered an asset.
Where We Are
Castle Mountain Resort is located at the end of Highway 774, near Pincher Creek, AB. This is a remote work location. There is a communal living Staff Accommodation building on-site for new and returning non-supervisory, seasonal employees.
