Main responsibilitiesOperate the equipment in the machining department: lathe, milling machine, drill, saw, planer and Xena hybrid milling machine.Read and interpret technical plans and make necessary corrections as needed.Maintain, repair and modify extrusion dies.Perform tests on dies, punches, tools, jigs and fixtures to ensure their proper functioning.To manufacture jigs for production.Manufacture various parts according to the needs of the maintenance department.Carry out production deployments in accordance with established specifications.Comply with quality standards, production targets and health and safety standards.Use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately.Read and write in French and perform basic calculations.Maintain a clean, organized and secure work environment.· Perform any other related tasks.Proficiency in English is important, as 80% of our clientele are exporters.
