Family Day is seeking a committed part-time Assistant Teacher for a contract role at 25 hours per week. Collaborate with E.C.E. Teachers to create engaging programs for children aged 0-12. You'll assist in planning, observe children’s progress, and adapt programs to meet diverse needs while promoting a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the High/Scope® educational approach implementation
• Assist in creating responsive program plans for children
• Participate in planning and evaluation activities actively




• Observe and assess children’s progress regularly
• Guide children in developing independent habits
Requirements:
• Experience in a child care or educational setting
• Knowledge of early learning best practices
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Police Vulnerable Sector Check dated within six months
