The candidate will be required to assess the extent of trauma victims' injuries or illnesses in order to determine emergency medical treatment.

The candidate will be expected to provide pre-hospital emergency care.

The candidate will be required to administer medications and provide advanced emergency treatments to patients.

The candidate will be responsible for transporting patients to a hospital or other medical facility for further medical treatment.

The candidate will be required to document and record the nature of injuries and treatment provided.

The candidate will be required to assist hospital personnel with the provision of medical treatment, if necessary.

The candidate will be expected to maintain ambulances, emergency care equipment, and supplies.

Job Requirements

The candidate should be fluent in English language.





The candidate must have a certificate or diploma from a 1 to 2 year College, CEGEP, or other non-university program.

Candidate having experience is an asset.

The candidate must have a Class 4/4F/F/4A-B-C Licence (for ambulances, emergency vehicles, and buses with fewer than 24 passengers), an ambulance driver's licence, an Advanced Life Support (ALS) Certificate, and a CPR Certificate.

The candidate should be accurate.
