Reporting to the Mine Controller, this senior finance role is critical for achieving financial accuracy and compliance. You'll be responsible for month-end journal entries, reconciliation, and economic justifications for capital expenditures. Your analysis of production costs will drive cost-reduction initiatives and ensure that safety and sustainability are upheld in line with company values.
Key Responsibilities: • Complete month-end journal entries and accruals • Analyze production costs of labor, materials,
and overhead • Identify and track key performance metrics • Participate in annual budget preparation • Cover for Assistant Controller during absences
Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in relevant field • CPA designation is mandatory • Five or more years in a Cost Accountant role • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Ability to thrive in a energetic environment
