Baycrest Hospital is looking for a dedicated Food Service Aide to enhance our Food and Nutrition Services. This part time position supports elder patients and residents by providing nutritional food service every weekend.
As a Food Service Aide, you will ensure quality food delivery and compliance with kosher standards. Your responsibilities will include basic food preparation, serving, and cleaning tasks while maintaining a high standard of hygiene and safety. Collaborating effectively within a team will be essential to facilitate an enjoyable meal experience for those in our care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform food preparation and portioning duties
• Serve meals accurately and timely to residents




• Clean and sanitize kitchen and dining areas
• Follow food handling and safety protocols strictly
• Manage food carts and equipment efficiently
Requirements:
• High school completion or equivalent necessary
• Current Food Handlers Certification required
• Previous experience in food service is ideal
• Understanding of kosher practices as an asset
• Strong communication and customer service abilities
