Well.ca is seeking a passionate Assistant Buyer to join its Merchandising team. This 12-month contract role requires 1-2 years of merchandising experience and strong analytical abilities. You will drive sales and margin growth while onboarding innovative brands and managing inventory efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support revenue and margin targets for assigned categories
• Source and onboard recent vendors and distributors
• Build weekly promotions with key vendors
• Manage inventory and de-list unproductive SKUs
• Create insights on market trends and category performance
Requirements:
• 1-2 years in merchandising or category management
• Experience in ecommerce is an asset
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
