WSP invites applications for a Geotechnical Technician to play a crucial role in our upcoming oil sands program. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive site investigations and evaluations • Deliver soil-property testing and accurate reporting • Supervise geotechnical drilling investigations and sampling • Maintain and troubleshoot geotechnical monitoring systems • Coordinate field data collection and contractor communication
Requirements: • Diploma/degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline • Experience in field investigations and soil testing • Understanding of construction monitoring best practices • Skills in using geotechnical instrumentation and reporting tools • Valid Alberta driver's license required for fly-in work
