(CLASSIC) seeks to hire a Community Support Worker (CSW).The PositionThe successful applicant will have knowledge of the community CLASSIC works in and will provide community referral and wrap-around supports on a continuum of non-legal needs including but not limited to:facing housing insecurityto navigate systems such as banking, government agencies, SIS/SAID, property managers, etc.To access translation servicesto complete forms for applications including: ID, social services, rental,



etc.To access mental health or counselling supportsconnect to other community-based organizations or government agencies.In addition to attending community meetings and eventsThe PersonThe ideal candidate will have a degree in Social Work/Humanities and will have 2+ years working experience. Being registered or eligible for registration with SASW is an asset.
