As a Crisis Support Worker in the Safe Beds Program, you will provide essential crisis support in a safe residential setting. The role involves interacting directly with clients facing mental health and addiction challenges. You'll coordinate services and support clients in achieving their recovery goals through a compassionate, recovery-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities: • Screen clients and manage intake processes • Provide psychosocial support and counseling • Assist clients with daily living and rehabilitation • Work collaboratively to develop care plans • Monitor compliance with house rules and safety
Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field • At least three years’ experience in mental health • Crisis management and de-escalation skills • Strong communication and rapport-building abilities • Must have a valid Ontario driver’s license
