Penn-co offers an excellent benefits package, and a very competitive salary.ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, service, and repair a broad inventory of heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, rock trucks, cranes, skid steers, telehandlers, and forklifts.Perform maintenance and repairs on highway trucks and trailers, including brake systems, suspension, powertrains, and emissions systems.Perform preventive and corrective maintenance with a strong focus on hydraulic systems, as well as mechanical and electrical components.Perform welding and fabrication repairs as required.Troubleshoot issues and provide efficient on-site solutions to minimize downtime and support field operations.Coordinate repair schedules with the Service Department Supervisor and site leadership; maintain strong communication with both.Maintain accurate service records, time sheets, parts usage logs,



and parts requests.Work independently in both remote field environments and a fully equipped shop.QualificationsRed Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Technician certification is preferred. All levels will be considered, including apprentices.Proficiency with Caterpillar ET and SIS diagnostic systems is a strong asset.Solid mechanical aptitude and proven experience with heavy equipment and on-highway truck/trailer repairs.Must supply own hand tools, travel toolbox, and shop cabinet.Effective problem-solving abilities and strong diagnostic skills.Reliable, organized, and capable of managing changing priorities.Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.Valid Class 5 driver’s license required; Class 1 or 3 withair brake endorsement is an asset.Ability to travel to remote project locations for work assignments.Working ConditionsRegular shop hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.M. – 5:00 p.M.Work is performed in a combination of shop environments and outdoor settings, in all weather conditions (heat, dust, cold, rain, etc.).Must be physically capable of performing strenuous tasks including lifting, climbing, and extended periods of standing or kneeling.Travel to various job sites is required, including occasional work at remote locations and longer shifts depending on project needs.What We OfferCompetitive compensation up to $50/hr, based on your skills, certification, and experience.RRSP program with company contributionsGear and tool allowanceContinuous training and skill development opportunitiesTravel time compensationUniform service providedPositive, team-oriented work environment#J-18808-Ljbffr
