As a temporary Quality Control Inspector with CEDA, you will work three 12-hour shifts Saturday through Monday, loading and unloading various freight. Your expertise in using handheld devices to track freight conditions is essential for documenting any discrepancies. This role requires hands-on involvement in warehouse maintenance and safety to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities: • Load and unload freight using electronic handheld device • Document exceptions: shortages, overages, and damages • Mark materials with identification information • Cube and reweigh materials using Dimensioner machine • Assist coworkers with loading and unloading tasks
Requirements: • Previous supervisory or lead hand experience • Forklift operation experience is required • Ability to lift 50 lbs repetitively • Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills • Punctual with positive attendance history
