ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deliver engaging, creative, and impactful in‑person, blended, and online learning experiences to improve individual and organizational performance and development.Conduct needs assessments to determine appropriate learning and development solutions and delivery methods for modules (in‑class, eLearning, video, virtual‑led training, etc.).Engage and guide learners to achieve training objectives focused on specific job tasks or role responsibilities.Translate complex problems and processes with examples and in multiple versions of explanation to appeal to various learners.Lead and manage a training group in a mature, professional learning workplace.Evaluate learner application of skills and knowledge through observation and testing results.Provide performance coaching and honest, constructive feedback with solutions to learners to achieve performance deliverables.Assist other members of the Learning and Development team when needed (e.G., mock calls, facilitation of modules, etc.).Work collaboratively with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure that relevant training program information is current.May require facilitation in‑class and virtual/online learning experiences.QualificationsBusiness-related university degree/college diploma, or equivalent work experience.Minimum of 3 years progressive work experience in the financial services industry in a similar capacity.Positive and resilient personality that embraces feedback and has a desire for continuous iteration and improvement.Ability to work in an agile manner within tight timeframes and content guidelines,
while also displaying creativity and a desire to push existing standards to the next level.Proficiency in MS Office365 (including Teams, OneDrive, PowerPoint, Excel).Courses in adult learning principles for instructional design and/or facilitation (asset).Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course/IFIC Sales Course (asset).Advanced knowledge of Instructional Systems Design Methodology, blended solutions, learning object methodology, adult learning theory, user‑focused content development, rapid prototyping/development methodologies and tools.Proven skills in multimodal, formal and informal instructional design.Immediate knowledge of authoring and e‑learning design software such as Storyline, Microsoft PowerPoint, or Articulate360.Comfortable working in a self‑guided manner.Excellent written and spoken English (bilingual English/French is an asset).Work ModelThis role follows an in‑office work model and requires employees to be onsite four days per week.Salary & BenefitsAnticipated base salary range: $42,500 to $71,000, depending on experience, skills, education, and budget. Position eligible for a bonus program.
