Audit Governance Program ManagerDate:Apr 16, 2026Location:Toronto, ON, CA - Calgary, AB, CA - Vancouver, British Columbia, CACompany:SoftchoiceThe impact you'll have:The Audit Governance Program Manager will represent Softchoice in all key audit activities with internal and external stakeholders. This role will spearhead the initiation and deployment of a new center of excellence, which is focused on reviewing our existing audit program associated controls, identifying gaps and continual improvement, and working with management to define remediation plans.This role is also responsible for all Softchoice vendor & partner audit governance framework, including, but not limited to, the process, communications, and management of the activities as it relates to audit control, stakeholder management, risks, and the associated collection of evidence/deliverables.This role reports to the Manager, Managed Services Operations.What you'll do:Work with the Audit Lead to establish, implement, and maintain the audit strategy and governance framework (e.G., Cloud, SOC, ISO)Accountable for stakeholder communication channels internally with SLT/ELT and externally with Partners, Vendors, and 3rd party audit firms in collaboration with Audit LeadWork with Audit Lead to perform audit governance, intake gap analysis, evidence control collection, creation of risk assessment and remediation plansOperationalize each of the audits and deploy a governance framework to include audit roadmap calendar, communication plans, and project plansWork with the Audit Project Coordinator / Business Analyst to track program level status on outstanding evidence control items, understand risks and roadblocks to current items, and creation action plans with business unit stakeholdersMeet regularly with relevant internal audit team leaders/stakeholders, vendors,



and partners to collect information that will be used in reporting to executive managementIdentify areas of improvement and efficiency opportunities within the audit programSupport the Audit Lead and act as an audit liaison to negotiate audit dates and validate control renewal cycles with vendors and partnersReview system designs and audit requirements to make recommendations regarding the functioning, adequacy and effectiveness of the organization's control strategies, structures, and systems.Assess / identify significant control gaps and elevate to appropriate SLT/ELT levels and relevant stakeholders where required for areas of accountabilityProvide support for vendor audits as needed, as well as other industry-level accreditationsStay current on evolving governance expectations and industry practices to support the continuous improvement and development of the audit programFacilitate the Managed Services audit governance meetings which include, but not limited to: BCP, vulnerability scan, Pentest, PII and HIPAAFacilitate client RFP responses in relation to security questionnairesWork with the Risk & Compliance team to determine any security breach impact internally or externallyWhat you’ll bring to the table:5+ years’ experience in IT industry3+ years of experience in audit planning and management of complex and diverse auditsPMP or PgMP certification or equivalent experience with advanced project management skillsA good understanding of services and solutions delivery modelsStrong understanding of the vendor/partner ecosystems and familiarity with audit terminology.Strong organization skills and attention to detailStrong problem analysis and solving skillsSelf‑interest to maintain updated knowledge with technology (industry) best practicesAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionPositive attitude with creative thinkingCross‑functional collaboration skillsCompensation:A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $76,500-$102,000 annually + 10% Target Incentives.Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, education, and related certification.
