Become a vital part of Windsor Essex Community Health Centre as a Social Worker focused on Black youth in a full time role. This position aims to provide holistic and culturally responsive care for youth aged 12 to 29.
As an AMANI Social Worker at weCHC's Teen Health site, you will work with Black youth facing complex challenges, including mental health and addiction. Your role includes implementing assessment and therapy, program evaluation, and close collaboration with community partners to promote health equity. You will be integral to the development of tailored, culturally sensitive interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide therapeutic services and case management for youth • Deliver culturally competent care that acknowledges anti-Black racism • Collaborate with professionals and community partners • Develop and evaluate targeted health programs • Ensure timely reporting and documentation practices
Requirements: • 1-2 years of counseling experience in community settings • Lived experience within the Black community • MSW or BSW with related clinical training • Exceptional communication and analytical skills • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
