Title: ServiceNow Consultant

Contract Duration: Until March 31, 2027, with a strong possibility of a 2-year extension

Client is launching a strategic pilot initiative focused on automating the authorization and execution of low-risk software changes through technical evidence generated by DevSecOps delivery pipelines (CI/CD).

The selected consultant will join a dedicated Procom delivery squad and play a key role in designing, developing, integrating, and demonstrating a functional automation solution within the ServiceNow ecosystem. This initiative aims to streamline change management processes, improve governance, enhance traceability, and enable automated decision-making for software deployments.

Responsibilities

- Design, configure, and develop ServiceNow solutions supporting automated change management.
- Implement and optimize ServiceNow ITSM and Change Management capabilities.
- Develop automation workflows, orchestration components, and custom ServiceNow modules.
- Integrate ServiceNow with DevSecOps toolchains and CI/CD pipelines.
- Configure and support Policy Decision Point (PDP) capabilities and decision rules.
- Integrate technical evidence from DevSecOps pipelines, including:
- Security scans
- Quality checks
- Automated testing
- Dependency analysis
- Digital signatures
- Deployment validations
- Build and maintain end-to-end traceability for automated decisions and deployments.
- Implement automated rollback and incubation mechanisms.
- Participate in architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
- Produce documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer to internal teams.




- Support pilot demonstrations and success measurement activities.

Required Qualifications

- 8+ years of experience in IT and enterprise application development.
- 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience.
- Strong expertise with:
- ServiceNow ITSM
- ServiceNow Change Management
- ServiceNow Integrations
- ServiceNow Development and Configuration
- Flow Designer
- Integration Hub
- REST/SOAP APIs
- Experience designing and implementing workflow automation solutions.
- Strong JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting skills.
- Experience integrating enterprise platforms and external systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously within a senior delivery team.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with DevSecOps environments.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of vulnerability management tools such as Snyk, Renovate, Black Duck, or similar.
- Experience with deployment automation and release orchestration.
- Exposure to policy-driven automation and automated governance frameworks.
- Experience implementing rollback, deployment validation, and automated compliance controls.
- Knowledge of ITIL and up-to-date Change Enablement practices.

Project Objectives

The consultant will contribute to the creation of a pilot solution capable of:

- Automating low-risk software changes.
- Collecting and evaluating DevSecOps evidence automatically.
- Integrating automated decision-making into ServiceNow.
- Applying a predefined automated authority model.
- Demonstrating complete auditability and traceability of change decisions.
- Producing measurable success indicators for future enterprise-scale adoption.
