We are currently seeking motivated Forklift Operator to join our team for a large food processing company located in Brampton, Ontario. This exciting opportunity would suit anyone looking to learn new skills and work in Ontario’s largest industry.
- Availability for pre-pricing products
- Operate CB Sitdown forklift
- Loading and Unloading racking and trucks
- Distribute stock around facility
- Place various products into designated storage areas
- Pick orders using the scanning system and stage loads
- Maintain inventory and perform cycle counts
- Load/unload trailers and containers as required
- Required to perform back-up duties in case of staff shortages
- Clean-up and maintain housekeeping
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Necessary skills for verbal and written communication in English
- Must be able to perform heavy lifting, up to/including 50 lbs.
- Must have valid licenses and experience in, Sitdown CB Electric
- Practical Testing to be performed prior to start.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn and take ownership.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and organize in a rapidly changing environment.
- Display a positive and proactive attitude.
- Necessary skills for working in a team environment and strong Leadership Skills.
- Work in and promote a safe environment; comply with all rules outlined.
- Other relevant duties as assigned by Distribution Supervisor and or designate.

Qualifications
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Valid CB Forklift Certification
- Ability to communicate in English and follow directions
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Completion of H&S; paperwork prior to starting
