You will be collaborating closely with the STEM Explore Coordinator to create inviting workshop experiences. Your expertise in STEM is crucial to ensure educational sessions are informative and enjoyable. Regular travel to participating schools is part of the job, requiring organization and adaptability to meet classroom needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct interactive workshops in classrooms • Deliver content using prescribed lesson materials • Communicate effectively with students of all ages • Encourage hands-on participation in STEM activities • Collaborate with fellow facilitators for successful sessions
Requirements: • Minimum 3 years of teaching experience • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant STEM field • Must speak and write fluently in English • Solid interpersonal and communication skills • Reside in the Greater Vancouver Area
