Join FYidoctors Campus - UBC as a Patient Services Specialist and contribute to exceptional patient care. This position requires you to work 30-40 hours per week in a busy and engaging clinic environment.
This fixed-term role will last until April 30, 2027. As a key member of the team, you will welcome patients, coordinate their appointments, manage check-in and check-out, and facilitate their overall experience with professionalism and compassion. You will also engage with patients by phone and email, supporting various clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Welcome patients and manage check-in/check-out
• Coordinate appointments and prepare prescriptions
• Perform pre-testing for eye care services
• Manage eyewear pick-ups with minor repairs
• Ensure exceptional customer service throughout
Requirements:
• Previous experience in retail is preferred
• Strong multitasking ability in a busy clinic
• Familiarity with MS Office and technology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Team-oriented and adaptable team member
