Job Title: Accounting/Finance Manager

Pay: CA45.00−CA60.00 per hour.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Location: Vancouver, BC

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting/Finance Manager to manage accounting and financial transactions within our organization. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting and tax principles, as well as payroll, ensuring compliance with legal requirements while supporting our company's development and growth.

Key responsibilities

Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers.

Manage accounts payable/receivable.

Reconcile bank and credit card statements, cash sales and expense receipts.

Manage cash flow, including budgeting and forecast.

Process payroll and remittances, ROE and T4.

Manage employee benefits and medical plans.

Govt Remittances, including GST, PST, WCB and BC Health Tax

Post transactions in GL, conduct monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial tasks, in collaboration with relevant parties

Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to management.

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Proven experience in accounting/finance (10+ years preferred).





Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.

Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and Word; knowledge of Mindbody software is an asset.

Working Conditions

This position requires a combination of remote work and office presence, starting with 5 days per week in the office, and transitioning to office and remote work once the person becomes well acustomed to the job requirements.
