Role Description This full-time, on-site Agent role is based in Cape Breton, NS. The Agent will meet with clients to assess their insurance and investment needs, explain financial products, and recommend suitable solutions aligned with client goals and risk tolerance.

Responsibilities include building and maintaining a portfolio of clients, following up on leads, and providing ongoing service and support. The Agent will prepare proposals, complete required documentation accurately, and ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies. The role also involves participating in training and mentorship programs, collaborating with team members,



and contributing to local business development activities to grow Experior’s presence in the community.

Qualifications

- Client service and relationship-building skills, including the ability to listen actively, communicate clearly, and build long-term trust with diverse clients.
- Sales and business development capabilities, such as prospecting, networking, and managing a personal pipeline to meet performance targets.
- Foundational financial literacy and interest in insurance and investment products, with the ability to explain concepts in accessible language.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple client appointments, documentation, and follow-ups efficiently.
- Comfort with working in a regulated environment, including attention to detail, ethical decision-making, and adherence to compliance requirements.
- Ability to work independently on-site while collaborating effectively with mentors, managers, and team members.
- Relevant provincial licensing or willingness to obtain required insurance and investment licenses (training and support provided).
- Previous experience in financial services, sales, or customer-facing roles is an asset but not mandatory; a growth mindset and willingness to learn are essential.
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education in business, finance, or a related field is considered an advantage.
