Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare all food for residents, meeting diverse dietary needs
• Review and execute meals from provided menus
• Monitor fridge and freezer temperatures daily
• Create menu substitutions as required
• Contribute to special occasion meal planning
Requirements:
• Must possess a Food Handler’s Certificate
• Red Seal Certificate preferred but not required
• Experience in large meal preparation in healthcare settings
• Knowledge of dietary regulations and Canada’s Food Guide
• Must pass Vulnerable Sector Check
