Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Manage food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light food items in accordance with safety standards
- Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing inquiries promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food handling stations and equipment
- Ensure food safety standards are consistently met through proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without sacrificing quality
Experience
- Previous barista experience or food service experience is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
- Experience in food preparation or food handling roles demonstrates your readiness for this position
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper hygiene practices is essential
- Proven ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment ensures smooth operations during peak hours
