Duties
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and safety guidelines
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Manage customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cashiering and upselling menu items
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist with food handling, storage, and inventory management
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and courteously
- Support team members during busy hours by managing time effectively and multitasking as needed
- Ensure proper food presentation and quality control before serving to guests
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environment preferred
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS and cash handling skills
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Basic math skills for cash transactions and order calculations
- Ability to upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Kitchen experience or background in the food industry is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and serve customers effectively
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
