Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst with experience in Data Analysis, Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) . The ideal candidate should possess strong data analytical skills, be proficient in SQL and reporting tools, and have hands-on experience validating business requirements through functional testing and stakeholder engagement. Candidates who can join immediately or within a short notice period will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, gaps, and actionable insights.
- Develop and execute test cases, test scenarios, and UAT plans based on business requirements.
- Validate data accuracy, business rules, and system functionality through testing activities.
- Perform root cause analysis for data and reporting issues and coordinate resolution with technical teams.
- Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI and Tableau .
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, validation, reconciliation, and analysis.
- Utilize Python for exploratory data analysis, data validation, and automation of repetitive tasks.
- Collaborate with business users, QA teams, developers, and project managers during project delivery.
- Facilitate UAT sessions, track defects, and ensure timely closure of issues.
- Prepare business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, test cases, and user documentation.
- Support production releases and post-implementation validations.

Required Skills Must-Have

- 2-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst,



Data Analyst, or related role
- Solid proficiency in SQL for data analysis and validation
- Hands-on experience with Python for data analysis and reporting
- Experience with Power BI and/or Tableau
- Strong understanding of Testing and UAT methodologies
- Experience in requirement gathering, stakeholder management, and business process analysis
- Ability to translate business requirements into test scenarios and acceptance criteria
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

- Data Quality Assessment and Reconciliation
- Test Planning, Defect Tracking, and UAT Coordination
- Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts
- Exposure to ETL processes and data pipelines
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies
- Experience working with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools

Preferred Domain Experience

- Insurance domain experience preferred but not mandatory
- Exposure to Property & Casualty (P&C;), Claims, Underwriting, Policy, or Reporting processes will be an added advantage

Communication & Soft Skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management and client interaction capabilities
- Ability to facilitate workshops, requirement discussions, and UAT sessions
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Strong experience in both Data Analysis and Testing/UAT
- Ability to work directly with business and technical stakeholders
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality analytical and testing outcomes
