O.B Law Office is a growing law firm providing legal services to individuals, families, entrepreneurs, and businesses across a range of practice areas, including real estate, immigration, civil and commercial litigation, employment, family law, and related matters.
As the firm continues to grow and expand its professional, business, and community relationships, we are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Business Development Manager to help develop sustainable sources of business, strengthen the firm's referral network, identify new market opportunities, and support the firm's long-term growth strategy.
We are looking for a business developer rather than simply a marketer. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate a track record of developing meaningful professional relationships and translating business-development initiatives into measurable results.
Position Overview The Business Development Manager will work directly with the Principal Lawyer to develop and implement O.B Law Office's business development strategy.
The position will focus on:

- identifying sustainable opportunities for growth.
The Business Development Manager will not provide legal advice or perform services reserved for lawyers or other regulated professionals. Experience in a law firm, professional-services organization, financial services, real estate, immigration-related services, accounting, consulting, or a comparable business environment would be considered an asset.

- takes ownership of objectives and results;
- is comfortable being held accountable to measurable performance expectations;
- understands the distinction between business development and the provision of professional legal services; and

Compensation Competitive compensation will be offered based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and demonstrated business-development capability.
Compensation may include a combination of base compensation and performance-based incentives tied to overall business-development, relationship-building, marketing, and firm-growth objectives.
Any performance-based compensation will be structured in accordance with applicable professional and regulatory requirements and will not be based on the referral of a particular client or matter, nor calculated by reference to legal fees generated from a specific client matter.
This structure is intended to reward the Business Development Manager for their overall contribution to the firm's growth rather than for individual client referrals.
