Position Summary:

The Laundry Operations Manager oversees all laundry operations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, quality, and efficiency for all linens, uniforms, and guest laundry services. This role leads the laundry team, manages daily operations, and coordinates with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure timely processing and delivery of laundry items.

The Laundry Operations

Manager is responsible for maintaining quality standards, optimizing productivity, managing inventory and equipment, and supporting team development while ensuring a safe, organized, and efficient working environment that enhances the overall guest and employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Experience & Service

- Ensure all guest linens, uniforms, and laundry items meet Cabot’s luxury cleanliness and presentation standards
- Support timely processing and delivery of guest laundry requests and operational linen needs
- Address laundry-related guest and departmental concerns promptly and professionally to maintain service excellence

Operations & Department Oversight
- Oversee daily laundry operations, including washing, drying, pressing, folding, and distribution of linens and uniforms
- Ensure all laundry facilities, equipment, and work areas are clean, organized,



and operating efficiently
- Monitor laundry productivity, quality control, and turnaround times to support operational needs across the property
- Manage inventory levels for linens, uniforms, chemicals, and laundry supplies while maintaining cost control and minimizing waste
- Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure adequate linen availability and timely service delivery

Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop laundry team members, including attendants and supervisors
- Conduct onboarding, training, and performance management to maintain operational and safety standards
- Foster a positive, accountable, and safety-focused team setting
- Ensure compliance with WHMIS, health and safety regulations, and proper chemical handling procedures

Administrative & Reporting
- Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and payroll to align with occupancy and operational demands
- Complete daily operational reports, including productivity, linen usage, equipment issues, and inventory tracking
- Maintain accurate records, maintenance logs, and communication with leadership and other departments
- Support preventative maintenance scheduling and vendor coordination for laundry equipment and systems

Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping operations within a hotel or resort environment, with a strong understanding of luxury cleanliness and presentation standards
- Proven experience overseeing housekeeping functions, including room inspections, turnover, and public area maintenance
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemical use (WHMIS), and health and safety standards
- Experience managing inventory, linen programs, and housekeeping supply controls
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including team supervision, training, and performance management
- Ability to coordinate effectively with Front Office and Maintenance to ensure timely room readiness and issue resolution
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
