Activate is a tech company known for creating Canada’s first full-scale interactive gaming facility. We are experiencing significant expansion, and are looking to expand our team with the addition of a Buyer. The successful candidate will be well-versed in production, inventory, and purchasing procedures and ways to optimize them. This is a full-time, permanent position. This is an internal opportunity open only to current Activate employees.

The Duties and Responsibilities

Review ERP/MRP purchase suggestions, generate, and submit purchase orders

Facilitate purchasing requests across various departments

Facilitate ad hoc requests, assisting with pricing and lead time discussions

Communicate shipping updates from suppliers to various stakeholders

Communicate pricing updates from suppliers to various stakeholders

Update and maintain ERP purchasing modules with customer and pricing information

Participate in quality control and vendor assessments

Assist with maintaining purchasing lists

Produce relevant reports as required The Qualifications:

1-2 years in a related field

Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems

Excellent communication abilities with an ability to build positive working relationships

Ability to identify,
