We are seeking a energetic and dedicated Certified Dental Assistant Level II who will also handle administrative duties to join our vibrant dental team. Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a variety of treatment procedures, including orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and manage dental supplies to maintain a clean and efficient workspace.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes as a dental receptionist, including scheduling appointments and updating patient records.
- Utilize dental software such as Dentrix and Epic to document patient information accurately, schedule appointments, and process billing.
- Educate patients on oral health care instructions and post-treatment care to promote ongoing dental wellness.
- Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones,
managing correspondence, and maintaining organized filing systems.
- Support the clinical team with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tools for orthodontic or restorative procedures when needed.
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Dental Assistant Level II with current licensure or registration as required by local regulations.
- Proven experience in dental assisting with knowledge of dental procedures across general dentistry, orthodontics, and pediatrics.
- Proficiency in dental management software including Dentrix and Epic; familiarity with CAD tools is a plus.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental practice.
- Excellent communication skills suitable for interacting with diverse patient populations as a dental receptionist or assistant.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of sterilization protocols, infection control standards, and OSHA regulations is essential.
