We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our agile dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in dental assisting procedures, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. As a Dental Assistant, you will support the dentist during procedures, manage patient records, and ensure the smooth operation of daily clinical activities.

Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring cleanliness and sterilization standards are maintained.
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures by handing instruments, suctioning, and providing support to ensure efficient workflow.
- Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage patient records accurately with Cleardent software
- Provide pre- and post-treatment instructions to patients, addressing questions about procedures, oral hygiene, and care routines.
- Support administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and managing patient check-in/check-out processes as a dental receptionist.
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment, ensuring all tools are ready for daily use while adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- Previous experience as CDA. New grads welcome to apply.
- Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Cleardent
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry enhances communication within the team and with patients.
- Experience working with pediatric patients or orthodontic procedures demonstrates versatility in supporting diverse dental treatments.
- Strong organizational skills coupled with excellent interpersonal abilities are necessary to foster a positive patient experience.
