We are seeking a motivated and skilled Civil Construction Worker specializing in Concrete demolition and related construction tasks. In this role, you will be an essential part of our construction team, responsible for safely and efficiently executing demolition, restoration, and renovation projects involving concrete structures. Your expertise will help ensure that projects are completed on time, to high standards, and with a focus on safety and quality.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing your technical skills and hands-on experience to contribute to impactful infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform concrete demolition using hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and specialized machinery while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist with concrete forming,
- Operate jackhammers
- Assist with concrete finishing
Skills
- Robust mechanical knowledge of construction tools and equipment operation.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools for various demolition and construction tasks.
- Physical ability for heavy lifting, working at heights, and performing manual labor in diverse weather conditions.
- This position is mainly a labour position using a 15 pound (7kg) jackhammer to do some concrete repair work at the snowsheds on the highway between Revelstoke and Golden, B.C. Accomodation is provided.
