Role Description This full-time remote Claims Examiner role is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and resolving insurance claims in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations. Day-to-day tasks include assessing claim documentation, verifying coverage, determining liability, and evaluating the accuracy and completeness of claim information.
The Claims
Examiner will conduct detailed investigations, collaborate with adjusters, agents, and external parties as needed, and recommend appropriate settlement or denial decisions. The role involves maintaining clear, accurate records, communicating claim outcomes to stakeholders in a professional manner,
and contributing to process improvements for efficient claims management. This position requires consistent adherence to quality standards, timelines, and regulatory compliance while working independently in a remote environment.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Claims Handling and Claims Management, including reviewing, evaluating, and processing insurance claims.
- Experience with Claims Resolution and Claim Investigation, with the ability to analyze facts, determine liability, and recommend fair outcomes.
- Knowledge of Insurance principles and coverage types, preferably in property, casualty, or related lines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain claim decisions clearly and professionally.
- Proficiency with claims management systems and common office software; ability to work efficiently in a remote setting.
- Ability to manage multiple claims and deadlines, prioritize workload, and maintain confidentiality and ethical standards.
- Relevant experience in claims examination, adjusting, or insurance operations; an associate or bachelor’s degree in insurance, business, or a related field is beneficial.
