About The Opportunity A leading organization in the healthcare industry is seeking a Conversational AI Engineer (P3) to design, build, integrate, and optimize AI-powered employee experiences across ServiceNow and Moveworks.
This is a highly technical, hands-on role with end-to-end ownership of conversational AI solutions, from discovery and architecture through development, integration, testing, deployment, tuning, and ongoing optimization.
You will work across Digital Workplace, HR, ServiceNow, Enterprise Architecture, Security, Data, and Product teams to translate complex employee and business-process challenges into secure, scalable, and intuitive AI-powered experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Own conversational AI solutions throughout the full lifecycle, including discovery, architecture, design, configuration, development, testing, deployment, and optimization.
- Design and implement AI-powered employee experiences using ServiceNow, Moveworks, generative AI, and workflow automation.
- Develop conversational experiences that solve complex employee, HR, IT, and enterprise-service challenges.
- Design secure and scalable integrations between ServiceNow, Moveworks, and enterprise systems such as Workday, ADP, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Entra ID, and Okta.
- Build integrations using REST APIs, web services, OAuth, SSO, and modern integration patterns.
- Configure and optimize prompts, context management, agent behaviors, workflows, retrieval mechanisms, and knowledge grounding.
- Design and improve Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), semantic search, vector search, and enterprise knowledge-retrieval solutions.
- Develop workflow automations connecting employee requests with downstream systems, approvals, cases, and business processes.
- Partner with platform owners, engineering teams, security teams, architects, and business stakeholders on new capabilities and technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex issues involving conversational behavior, APIs, integrations, identity, permissions, workflows, and platform performance.
- Partner with knowledge-management teams to improve content quality, search effectiveness, governance, and AI retrieval experiences.
- Identify reusable patterns and develop frameworks, standards, templates, documentation, and implementation best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and clearly communicate architecture and solution recommendations to both technical and business stakeholders.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in Conversational AI, AI Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Platform Engineering, Solutions Architecture,
ServiceNow Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical role.
- Hands-on experience designing or implementing conversational AI, virtual agents, chatbots, copilots, or AI-powered enterprise experiences.
- Robust understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, context engineering, retrieval techniques, and AI application design.
- Experience with RAG, enterprise search, semantic search, or knowledge-retrieval solutions.
- Experience building enterprise integrations using REST APIs, web services, OAuth, SSO, and modern integration patterns.
- Experience developing workflows and automations using ServiceNow Flow Designer, Power Platform, Azure Functions, Workato, Automation Anywhere, or similar technologies.
- Experience with scripting or programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, or similar.
- Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture, identity management, security, and system-integration patterns.
- Ability to independently own technical solutions from concept through production deployment and optimization.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Direct Moveworks experience is not required. Candidates with strong transferable experience across enterprise conversational AI, ServiceNow, virtual agents, Microsoft Copilot, LLM-powered assistants, or similar platforms are encouraged to apply.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Hands-on experience implementing, configuring, or administering Moveworks.
- Experience with ServiceNow Virtual Agent, Now Assist, AI Search, Knowledge Management, or Employee Center.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Experience implementing RAG, vector search, semantic search, knowledge retrieval, and AI orchestration frameworks.
- Experience integrating AI platforms with Workday, ADP, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Entra ID, or Okta.
- Understanding of Agentic AI architectures, AI governance, responsible AI practices, and enterprise AI security.
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise employee-experience or digital-transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrated success driving AI adoption and measurable business outcomes.
Education &
Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant certifications in ServiceNow, AI/ML, cloud technologies, software engineering, or related disciplines are considered an asset.
