Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Counter Help to join our vibrant food service team! In this role, you will be the friendly face that greets customers, takes their orders, and ensures they have a memorable experience. Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring quick and productive transactions
- Prepare food items according to established recipes also making coffees, espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and more and safety standards, maintaining proper sanitation and food handling procedures
- Operate cash registers, handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, and manage cash handling responsibilities
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of the counter area, including sanitation of work surfaces and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations




- Assist with basic food preparation tasks and support kitchen staff during busy periods
- Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly while maintaining high-quality service standards

Qualifications

- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with serving and food handling is a plus
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and order calculations accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Kitchen experience or background in the food industry is advantageous but not required
- Willingness to learn new skills such as upselling techniques and advanced POS operations
