We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Receptionist/Treatment Coordinator to join our dynamic dental team. STABLISHED & BUSY DENTAL OFFICE , The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of dental and medical terminology, and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, manage appointment scheduling, and coordinate treatment plans to ensure a smooth and efficient patient experience. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will be vital in supporting the clinical team and maintaining an organized front desk environment.
Duties
- Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures to foster a welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage multi-line phone systems efficiently, scheduling appointments, confirming upcoming visits, and addressing patient inquiries promptly
- Explain treatment plans clearly to patients, answer questions regarding procedures, insurance, and financing options, and coordinate scheduling accordingly.
- Verify insurance benefits and process claims accurately to facilitate smooth billing processes.
- Support the clinical team by preparing necessary documentation and ensuring all patient records are complete prior to appointments.
- Uphold compliance with health regulations by maintaining cleanliness of the reception area and adhering to privacy standards related to medical records.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a dental receptionist
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes to effectively communicate with patients and staff.
- Proven administrative experience in a fast-paced office setting with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to operate multi-line phone systems confidently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor that promotes trust and rapport with patients.
- Experience working with Cleardent
- Knowledge of dental terminology
