What you'll be doing

As Director, Digital Content & Editorial Strategy, you'll own Simplii's content ecosystem end to end, across website, social, influencer, CRM and emerging AI-powered discovery channels, building a content engine that increases organic discoverability, strengthens brand preference and drives consideration. This is a new role: there's no incumbent and no existing job architecture to benchmark against, you'll help define what it becomes.

You'll lead a multidisciplinary team spanning content strategy, copywriting, social media, influencer marketing, community management and content operations, and coordinate closely with brand, product, lifecycle, sponsorship, social, influencer and campaign colleagues across Simplii's marketing organization.

We pride ourselves on the connections we make: with our customers, with our colleagues, and with our commercial partners. We know the real value of human, in-person moments, so we've built a working culture and workspace designed to accelerate collaboration and teamwork. We also know that time away from the office is a critical part of how our best thinking happens.

Leaders in our business are expected to be in the office, supporting their teams to achieve their ambitions, so you'll work on-site 3 days a week, with the balance remote.

How you'll succeed

- Build a newsroom operating model - Establish a newsroom operating model that integrates brand campaigns, social content, creator partnerships and customer storytelling into a single editorial calendar, coordinated across brand, product, lifecycle, sponsorship, social, influencer and campaign initiatives.
- Lead social and community - Lead social listening and community management programs to identify customer pain points, cultural trends and content opportunities, with clear escalation protocols for reputation moments.

- Own influencer and creator strategy - Lead influencer and creator marketing strategy across awareness, engagement and conversion objectives, building creator partnership frameworks, measurement approaches and governance models, and managing agency and creator network relationships.
- Lead Simplii's AEO/GEO strategy - Own Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), ensuring content is structured for AI assistants, LLMs, conversational search and answer engines, not just traditional search.
- Measure what matters - Define KPIs across content, social, influencer, community, SEO, AEO and GEO performance, and build executive reporting that demonstrates the impact of content on awareness, consideration, engagement and conversion.
- Lead the team - Establish editorial workflows, publishing processes and content production standards, fostering a culture of experimentation, creativity and performance measurement across the team.

Who you are

- You think in ecosystems, not channels - a piece of content is never “just for social” or “just for the website” to you, it's part of one editorial calendar working across every channel at once.
- You're as comfortable in a boardroom as a comments section - you can build an executive dashboard and also read a community's mood in real time.
- You're fluent in where discovery is heading - AEO, GEO and AI-assisted search aren't buzzwords to you, they're the next content architecture you're already building for.
- You build repeatable systems, not one-off campaigns - playbooks, frameworks and governance models that outlast any single launch.
- You lead through culture as much as process - you foster experimentation and creativity in your team, backed by real performance measurement, not just process for its own sake.
- Values matter to you. You bring your real self to work, and you live our values - trust, teamwork,

and accountability.
