Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Drywall Installer role based in Halifax, NS.

The Drywall

Installer will measure, cut, and install drywall panels on walls and ceilings according to specifications and building codes.

Responsibilities include preparing surfaces, fastening drywall using appropriate tools and materials, taping and finishing joints, and repairing or replacing damaged sections. The role also involves coordinating with other trades in office, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and following all health and safety regulations.

The Drywall

Installer may support related tasks such as basic plastering,



stucco application, and ceiling system installation as needed.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated proficiency in drywall installation, including measuring, cutting, fastening, taping, and finishing surfaces.
- Practical experience with ceilings, including installation and finishing of drywall or related ceiling systems.
- Skill in plastering and stucco work to achieve smooth, durable finishes on interior surfaces.
- Possession of a valid CSCS or CSCS Card (or equivalent safety certification) and a strong commitment to site safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications, with strong attention to detail and quality.
- Physical capability to perform manual work, including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and using power tools safely.
- Previous experience in residential or commercial interior construction; apprenticeship or trade certification in drywall or plastering is an asset.
- Reliable transportation to the Halifax, NS job site and willingness to work collaboratively with a diverse team of trades professionals.
