We are currently hiring a permanent full-time Transit Mechanic “A” to join our dedicated team in West Vancouver. In this role, you will perform mechanical overhauls, troubleshoot electronic components, and maintain essential records. You will directly impact our commitment to a vibrant community by providing reliable transit solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct mechanical maintenance and repair on transit vehicles
• Perform diagnostic testing of electronic systems
• Maintain records and submit comprehensive reports




• Execute gas and electrical welding as needed
• Work closely with the Maintenance Manager to meet demands
Requirements:
• Red Seal Trades Qualification in Commercial Transport Mechanics
• Five years of relevant mechanical experience
• Valid Class 2 or 3 Driver's License with air brake endorsement
• Familiarity with diesel transmission control systems
• Possession of hand tools and relevant training
