Job Description

Lead the estimating process for ICI GC/CM ground-up new build projects in Toronto.

Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.

Collaborate with project teams to evaluate project requirements and timelines.

Analyze subcontractor bids and assist in the selection process.

Conduct thorough reviews of project plans, specifications, and other documents.

Maintain and update cost databases and estimating tools.

Provide mentorship and guidance to junior estimators within the team.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies in all estimating activities.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Chief Estimator should have:

Extensive experience in ICI GC/CM ground-up current build estimating within the building construction industry, 10+ years of experience.

Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials,



and costs.

Proficiency in estimating software and tools.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Entrepreneurial and client facing ability / mentality

Effective communication and leadership abilities to manage and mentor a team.

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate and timely estimates.
