Job Summary
We are hiring an experienced Combi Forklift Operator in Newmarket! This is a full time, long term position! This is a Canadian company that has been in business for over 20 years! Great company culture & a energetic team environment!
Schedule
Work a convenient day shift! Monday to Friday 7:00am – 3:00pm!
Responsibilities
Operate a Combi (multi-directional) forklift to transport long and heavy structural steel throughout the facility
Safely load and unload steel from racks, fabrication areas, and staging zones
Maneuver oversized materials in tight indoor spaces while maintaining control and visibility
Ensure proper load securement, balance, and weight distribution at all times
Pay Rate
$24-26/hour, based on experience
Weekly pay every Friday
Qualifications
Valid forklift operator certification
Experience operating a Combi / multi-directional forklift
Strong experience in a steel manufacturing environment
Robust understanding of load dynamics and handling long materials
Physically capable of working in an industrial environment (lifting, standing, navigating shop floor)
