Teen Challenge is a 12-month, faith-based, in-residence drug and alcohol rehabilitation program, for adults 18 and older. We currently have 8 centres located in Alberta, Atlantic Canada, Saskatchewan and Ontario that are able to serve up to 197 people who are struggling with substance addiction. We demonstrate God’s love by helping individuals become free from substance addiction and equipping them to live full and meaningful lives.
JOB POSITION DESCRIPTION
Our team is looking for a full time Facilities Maintenance & Work Therapy Coordinator at our Atlantic Men's Centre. The primary responsibility of the Facilities Maintenance & Work Therapy Coordinator is to perform general building and property maintenance,
and to coordinate and communicate with outside contractors when required. You will be responsible for completion of facilities work and oversee work therapy performed by clients.
Your duties will include tending to the utility systems, performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of a need for repairs. Additionally, you will ensure that the grounds are maintained appropriately and must be knowledgeable about Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, the proper use and administration of PPE, and WHMIS.
